What is Sixteen?

Sixteen is a free, browser-based drum machine, sampler and step sequencer — a complete groovebox that runs entirely on the web, with nothing to download and no account to create. Record or import sounds, chop them across sixteen velocity pads, program beats on the step grid or piano roll, shape them with built-in mixer effects, and export finished tracks as WAV files or separate stems. Everything is processed and stored locally on your device, so your audio never leaves the machine.

It's an independent project, built by Ben and actively refined. New instruments, sounds, workflow improvements and learning content ship regularly as the machine keeps growing — so it's worth checking back as Sixteen evolves.

Nothing to buy. Nothing to install.
